Terms of Service

The full, binding Terms of Service live here: /tos. That page is the authority. This is a plain-language map of what's in it — it does not replace or modify the actual terms.

In plain terms, the Terms of Service cover:

  • What the service is — self-hosted VPS and related hosting on hardware we own and operate in Texas and Kansas. No public-cloud passthrough.
  • What we collect from you — a username and either a password or a Nostr key, an email only if you sign up with one, and enough of a billing identifier to confirm Bitcoin payment. No KYC, no government ID, no real name required. Pseudonyms are fine.
  • What you may and may not run — the Acceptable Use Policy (see our Acceptable Use Policy article, or read /aup).
  • Payment — priced in US dollars, paid in Bitcoin through BTCPay. Non-refundable. Includes the non-payment grace, suspension, and termination timeline (see Refunds and cancellations).
  • Data, retention, and disclosure — what we keep, what we don't, and that we respond only to lawful US legal process (see Jurisdiction and compliance).
  • Warranty and liability — the service is provided as-is; you keep your own backups; liability is limited.
  • Governing law — Wyoming, where SHC is organized, with each site complying with the law of the state it physically sits in.
  • Changes — we notify active customers by email before changes take effect.

We deliberately don't paraphrase the binding language here — small wording differences create real risk, and we won't pretend a summary is the contract. If anything above matters to your decision, read the source: /tos. Questions go to legal@sovereignhybridcompute.com.
