A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is your own virtual machine running on our hardware — a computer in our data center that you control completely. You decide what runs on it, how it's configured, and who can access it. We provide the hardware and keep it running; the rest is yours.
We run our own bare metal in our own US facilities — Katy, Texas and Cherryvale, Kansas — on Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with DDR4 ECC memory. No public cloud underneath, no third party in the middle.
Every plan includes:
Pick your distribution. At order time you choose from a range of Linux distributions — including Debian, Ubuntu LTS, Fedora, Arch, AlmaLinux, Alpine, and NixOS. Want a graphical desktop? Add a desktop environment (this needs a bit more disk — choose a plan with at least 16 GB of storage). Changed your mind later? Reinstall with a different OS from the portal or the customer API.
It's deployed automatically. Your server is provisioned in minutes — no waiting on a human to rack a box. Once it's up, the connection details appear in your client portal. See Connecting to Your Server for how to log in.
You manage it your way. Run it from the client portal — power, reinstall, console, snapshots, firewall, metrics — or drive everything over our customer API (and a hosted MCP endpoint, so an AI agent can manage your infrastructure for you). Your VPS, your tooling.
It's yours, and it's private. We don't monitor what you run or log your traffic. When your service ends, your data is cryptographically erased. And you pay in Bitcoin through our own self-hosted BTCPay Server — top up an account balance and we draw from it as services renew. No credit cards, no identity verification. See Privacy and Data for the full picture.
